Update: Multiplayer! (sort of)

Hey everyone!

A new update for Will The Man Get Frog is out!

New features include:

• A brand new game mode, shared game! Challenge your friends to write with the same words as you!
• more adjectives, and more synonyms for every adjective!
• a new, dashing cover art!
• automatic word sorting
• some feedback and game layout rework

Of course, the main dish here is the new shared game mode!

Wow, what is it?

It’s kind of a multiplayer experience allowing players to start with the same word set, compose and then share or compare their results! No actual connection needed, it all relies on setting a password for your game.

How do I do that?

Easy as pie! Just launch the game and:

• Hit “shared game”. You’ll be prompted to define a 4-word password.
• Find a password you like, enter it and hit start.
• Share your password to your friends, and have them use it like you did.
• Bravo! You now all have the same words to start with. Enjoy writing and comparing the results together!

As no connection is needed, you can play with friends asynchronously! Just send them a .gif of the haiku you made, the password will be visible on it. Then they can play whenever they feel like it and send the result back to you!
